Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the executive team of Ctrl C Construction, the intern will dedicate their time to performing research and creating reports which consolidate key industry information. They will be able to effectively manage their own time and execute on action items outlined by the executive team using project management and time tracking web applications. Other responsibilities include the following:
Research 3D printing technology and market conditions for 3D printed construction and present finding to executive team through powerpoint and word documents
Contact subject matter experts in 3D printed construction industry to schedule podcast/youtube series interviews
Expand LinkedIn presence through strategic networking plan
Research and write blog posts about 3D printed construction industry
Create lists of potential investors, technology vendors, industry experts, ect for cold lead outreach
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Current enrollment in 4 year college program in one of the following fields: mechanical engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering, architecture, construction management
Excellent written communication skills (grammer, persuasive writing, note taking)
Decisive and strong communicator – both written and verbal.Strong time management skills through extremely detailed calendaring and task management systems.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with 3D printers
Experience specifically with 3D printed concrete
Experience with Google Sites or Web Page Development
Involvement in engineering related extracurricular activities
