The construction market is broken. A 2x4 used to cost $3...now it's $10. The industry doesn't have enough skilled labor to meet demand. People are living in vans because affordable housing is something they can only have in a dream. We have the technology to change that. 3D printed homes aren't coming...they are already here. We just want to speed that up.

Alex Sheen is the CEO and Founder of because I said I would, an international social movement and nonprofit organization. Alex is a five-time TEDxTalk speaker, author, podcast host, internationally-recognized humanitarian. His work has been featured on the TODAY Show, Good Morning America, the Steve Harvey Show, CNN, Fox News and many other programs.
Kevin Hardin
Chief Engineering Officer
Kevin Hardin as 3D printing engineer and Principal CEO of Making Proto. Kevin graduated from Ohio University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and went on to earn a Masters in Education from John Carroll University. He was Design Engineer for Nook industries for making products in CAD for medical and aerospace applications, but has also enjoyed a career teaching 3D printing technologies to students. Today, Kevin leads his own consulting practice designing and fabricating 3D printed prototypes for client companies.
Greg Sheen
Chief Construction Officer
Greg Sheen is a third generation roofer with over 20 years of experience on construction sites. Greg started working for a family business at age 16 as a roofer and continued with that job as he earned his B.S. in Psychology from Ohio State University. His passion for construction continued after college and would eventually purchase ownership of Kemp Roofing, a roofing company established in 1956. Over the past five years, the business's focus has shifted to major remodeling projects in the residential market.
